Every install includes mounting, balancing and new valve stems on Hunter Engineering equipment — most cars are done while you wait. This is the same rate card we post at the counter.

Tire Installation
Mount, balance and valve stems — priced by rim size, from $50 a set.
Tire Repair
Nails, slow leaks, bead and valve problems. Walk-in, from $25.
Wheel Balancing
$20 a wheel — or road force balancing when the shake survives a rebalance.
Tire Rotation
$30 a set, walk-in — the cheapest way to get the mileage you paid for.
TPMS Programming
Dashboard pressure light on after a wheel swap? $20 a sensor, walk-in.
Tire Storage
$200 a season for a set of four — indoors, tagged, ready for your change-over.

When a regular balance doesn't stop the shake

A regular balance evens out weight. It can't see a tire that isn't perfectly round, or a stiff spot in the sidewall that hits the road harder on every turn — and both of those still shake the car at highway speed. A road force check spins the assembly under load, the way it rides on the road, and measures what the weights alone can't.

- A tire or rim that isn't perfectly round, or a bent wheel
- A tire mounted in the wrong position on its rim
When the tire is simply mounted in the wrong spot, we rotate it on the rim so the two high points cancel each other out — that fixes a lot of cars. If the numbers come back clean, we'll tell you the vibration isn't in the wheels and point you at the brakes, driveshaft or suspension instead of selling you another balance.
