Tire Installation
Two different jobs share this page, because they are priced differently. A change-over is a set already mounted on its own rims — we swap all four wheels off and on. An installation means the tire has to come off the rim and a new one goes on, which is what the size-based prices below cover.

How it works
Installation takes a bay for the better part of an hour, so it is booked, not walk-in — that rule exists so a booked customer never loses their slot to a drop-in. Most cars are finished while you wait. In November and early December the change-over season fills days ahead; book early.

Common questions
Can I bring my own tires?
Yes. Customer-supplied tires are $150 a set, and the same rate applies to rims you bring in. Everything else — balancing, valve stems, torque — is included exactly as it is on tires bought here.
Why does a 20-inch wheel cost more than a 17?
Large-diameter and low-profile tires have stiff sidewalls that take longer to break off the rim without damaging either part, and they are heavier to balance. The price follows the labour, not the tire's value.
Do I need a re-torque?
Yes — come back after 50 – 100 km, or within 2 – 5 days. It takes a couple of minutes, it is free, and it is the single most important thing you can do after any wheel comes off a car.
