A regular balance evens out weight around the wheel, and for most vibrations that is the whole story. When the shake survives a rebalance, the problem is usually not weight at all — it is a tire that is not perfectly round or a stiff spot in the sidewall, and only a road force check under load can measure that.

How it works
Balancing is walk-in — no appointment. A full set takes about half an hour; a road force check on four wheels takes a little longer because each assembly is measured under load.

Smooth around town, shakes at 100 km/h — is that balancing?
Almost always, yes. Steering-wheel shimmy that appears at highway speed is the classic imbalance signature. If it came back after a rebalance, the road force check is the next step, not a third balance.
Brand-new tires that never settled down.
A new tire can leave the factory slightly out of round, and no amount of weight fixes that. Road force measures it and often solves it by rotating the tire on the rim — no parts, no warranty claim.
One wheel keeps needing more and more weight.
That is a bent rim or a tire with real force variation. More weight is treating the symptom; bring it in and we will measure what is actually going on.
